How to clean & care for your wheels
Wheels can really make or break the look of a car, so its important to keep them clean, we not only show you how to do so easily, but also tips and tricks on keeping them that way too.

Typically these are amongst the dirtiest part of the car and the cleaning of them can spray dirt up onto surrounding paintwork. For this reason it is always best to start with the wheels so you don’t cover freshly cleaned paint in brake dust! Dedicated wheel cleaners can be used to clean wheels – but be careful of your choice of product. Some cleaners are acidic and these can damage specialist wheel types. If possible try to use a non-acidic wheel cleaner. Ideally though, use normal car shampoo to clean wheels, as you would use to clean paint. This will work well on wheels which have been protected as part of a major detail! Begin with the insides of the wheels – you will likely need a brush to reach these areas. Spray on your wheel cleaner (or dip brush in your shampoo) and gently work the grime off of the wheel surface. Once the insides are clean, the faces can be cleaned either by spraying on wheel cleaner and agitating with a washmitt, or using a washmitt as you would wash the paint. Finish by rinsing the wheels thoroughly.
