Yet another Aston from us and our twitter followers would have already caught a glimps of this when it was with us a few weeks back.
On arrival:

Some light damage we will also be repairing in the course of the detail:

As usual we start off by cleaning up the rims,

Next up was the door jambs and engine bay with super degreaser:

Foamed with a mild foaming TFR, to deep clean & strip old waxes off, gaps cleaned with Envy brushes, before rinsing, re-foaming and washing with lambs wool mit:

With all the lose dirt and grim off, we set about claying with mild clay to remove any bonded contaminates:

With all the nasty work out the way we set to work on the fun stuff, paint correction, first examining the paint work under various lighting and taking paint thickness measurement’s around the entire car:

So we have our work cut out, but un-phased Mike cracks on, 3 days solid machining on the correction stages alone, with various pad and polish combos around the car, mainly Menz ip 3.02 and a mid firm polishing pad, stepping up to 105 and wool in some areas:

I cracked on with a few minor repairs, rear bumper:

Wet sanded with 2000:

Refined a little with 3000:

Polished with course spot wool pad and 3M FCP:

After sanding and compounding (still to be finished down when Mike makes his way around to the bumper):

The front wheel needed a minor repair, it was so small it did not really warrant a complete strip and refurb so we made do with a minor blow in:

The film on the front needed removing and replacing to repair the scuff:

So our Pal Steve from Mint Condition came down and sorted it out for us:

After a few days of polishing it ends up a bit dusty:

So its back out for another wash:

Once clean and dry we pre cleanse and apply the first of 3 coats of a new wax we have been trailing:

Interior was deep cleaned and the leather sealed:

A few final touches like tyres and arches dresses, windows cleaned and after a full week in the studio the Aston leaves us looking like this:
