Based in Hertfordshire, we primarily cover Southern England, although we have been known to travel further - both nationally and internationally - in the name of detailing. But it's a long way from our early roots. We were established in 1999 as "JB's" by James Batty, with just a mobile valeting service. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength in the field of auto preparation through a passion for our work, an investment in equipment and training, and also because of an uncontrollable urge to attain the ultimate finish. This has gained us an enviable reputation.
We come to you, whether at your home or at your workplace, leaving you free to go about your normal daily routine. Our mobile unit is totally self-sufficient, with a water supply and all specialist equipment on board. All we need is a power supply. Should you wish, or if weather conditions or space restrictions cause problems, we have a detailing centre situated just off the A10 near Ware, Hertfordshire, SG11. Collection and delivery can be arranged by enclosed vehicle carrier (if required) and we can also store vehicles free of charge and detail them whilst you are away on holiday or business… we're just 15mins away from Stansted airport and can arrange to shuttle you to and from the terminal building.
At Auto Finesse, we have invested in the finest products and equipment - not only to provide you with the best possible finish, but to do so safely… it doesn't take much to cut through a modern clearcoat paint and leave a dull panel in need of a respray. Our multi-depth paint gauges guard against this, by not only working out the thickness of the paint as a whole, but by analysing the thickness of each individual layer (primer, base coat and clearcoat). Finally, we will protect the polished and prepared paintwork with your choice of 'last stage product', including the finest carnuba waxes in the world, some of which cost as much as £1700. After having tried thousands of products, we have a good idea what will suit your car's paintwork and give enough durability for easy maintenance in the future. Although we work closely with product manufacturers (we're a Dodo Juice Authorised Detailer, for example) we do not pay for our accreditation or endorse products that we do not believe in or use ourselves. We believe that our work is good enough to stand alone.
