New workshop
At the end of last year we were getting our new Hertfordshire detailing centre and workshop ready. We're happy to say that after a few coats of white emulsion, we have fully moved in. It's a spacious and purposeful location, dedicated to detailing.
Detailing World Charity Open Day, 1 March 2008
We held a Detailing World meet at our new workshop, auctioning off a detail for charity - the attraction being that the winning car would be attended to by no less than four pro detailers! The lucky car was a VXR Monaro, that got fully machine polished then covered in Dodo Juice/Detailing World Doublewax. The proceeds of the auction came to over £500, which was donated to a couple of local children's charities. Our thanks to all those involved.
Fast Show, Santapod, 9th March
Our van was on show at one of the leading tuning events of the year, but sadly we didn't get a chance to run it up the quarter mile. Maybe we'll wait until the VXR version of our van comes out with a Monaro V8 engine!
Dodo Juice 'Introduction to Detailing' Training Day, 10th May
We will be holding the first Dodo Juice Detailing Training Day at our premises on 10th May. You can book your space on Detailing World by visiting the Dodo Juice section in 'Manufacturers'. Numbers are limited, so act quickly. Cost is £25 for the day, including lunch and refreshments.
JapFest, Castle Combe, Wiltshire, 17th May
We will be showing at JapFest, at Castle Combe circuit, alongside Toxic Rides.
Dodo Juice 'Advanced Detailing' Training Day, 24th May
The second Dodo Juice Detailing Training Day will be covering more advanced techniques and is therefore more suitable for experienced amateurs and pros. We'll be covering techniques like wet-sanding and stone chip repair, and once again, lunch will be provided. Numbers are even more limited, so again, book early on Detailing World. Cost is £37.50.
Auto Finesse provide support for the tow show , 24th June
